Happy Experience at “Mr. Happy” in Jinbou-chou

This time is for “Mr. Happy” in Jinbou-chou.
My friend introduced to me the restaurant for my writing this blog articles.
I write this with thanks to him.

 

This is the appearance.

I visited it on March 11, 2017 and about only 1 month passed after its open.
The inside is bright and like Italian bar, which is recent trend.
My friend and the shop master knows themselves and we could be seated in the end of the counter seats.

 

First of all, I looked through the menu for ordering drinks,

I couldn’t decide it ^^;
So I obey my friend, who had came here three times and ordered “Modern Senkin Muku”.

Good taste!
The taste was one I like, sweat but not like sugar, had moderate taste and good aftertaste.
Added, the price per a glass was 259 yen or 378 yen, its amazing!

 

Next we ordered foods.
It depends but I never drink without foods, so the foods menu is very important for me.
This is the foods menu.

Firstly ordered “Mr. Happy Salad” for vegi-first, and did “Gyusuji-nikomi (stewed beef tendon)”, “Oyster Miso cream Crocchetta” and “Sashimi of Bamboo Shoots”(this was not listed in the menu).

Eated it with breaking the dome over the salad.

 

“Gyusuji-nikomi (stewed beef tendon)”

The beef tendon was stewed enough and soft, the soy source taste was fit to Nihon-shu, Sake.

 

“Oyster Miso cream Crocchetta”

This photo was taken after eating crocchetta but there had been 4 crocchetta.
It was the crocchetta which had enough taste of Oysters.

 

“Sashimi of Bamboo Shoots”

Eating with soy source or Miso paste with meat on the spoon.
I like Bamboo shoot and felt spring coming in the fresh taste.
Eating with drinking Nihon-shu amazed me(  ̄▽ ̄)

In this restaurant we can enjoy Nihon-shu because of the low price and I drank it much.

 

After “Senkin”

The taste was so-called “Tanrei Karakuchi”, light and dry. The lightness was like water and it seemed to fit to not fat foods.

 

Next

Sharaku Junmai-Ginjou Banshu-Yamada-nishiki

The taste felt to be seat in spite of the height of the Nihonshu-do (Generally, the higher Nihonshu-do is, the drier the taste is).
The expression is same as “Senkin”‘s one but of course the taste is different.
My poor English cannot express the difference.

 

Next

Murayou Akane-rabelle Muroka-Hon-Nama

“Murayou Akane-rabelle Muroka-Hon-Nama”.
The taste was sweat and hadgood aftertaste.

 

Next, I drank in the way which I can’t do it in other restaurant.

Mansaku-no-Hana Junmai-Ginjou O-machi & Akita-Sake-Komachi  Mansaku-no-Hana Junmai-Ginjou Aiyama

Drank some of “Mansaku-no-Hana Junmai-Ginjou” which is brewed by different rice, one after another.
It is about 20 years after I started Nihon-shu, Sake but I had never enjoy drinking the same items which is brewed by different rice at a time…because of my poorness.

The shop master said, you want to know how different the influences of the rice difference on Nihon-shu is, you should drink one by “Aiyama” and ones by another rice.
Surely, the taste of Sake by “Aiyama” seemed to be richer than others.

In the photos, there are Sake by “O-machi” and “Akita-Sake-Komachi” as well, the trend of the taste is same but surely the taste is different.

 

Finally, I had Sake which I had not had.

Aramasa No.6 Type-S & R

Both are the same but the taste is, of course, different.
“Type S” is like sparkling wine.
I can’t express the taste in letters so it is better that you go there and drink it, if you want.

 

I drank many kinds of Nihon-shu and I had not had the experience that I had so many items in a time.
So many Nihon-shu I drank and the sum was

About 8,000 yen!!
In other restaurant, it will be 10,000 yen per a person.
This restaurant is very tender to customers!

This restaurant has many variety of Nihon-shu and you can enjoy them in various way.
If you have some interest, I recommend you to visit it because I think that you can be satisfied with the services!
