Lunch at “Icchou” in Annaka city

This time is Icchou in Annaka city.

The day, I came back to my home in Gunma and had a lunch in a restaurant there, which is along Route 18 from Annaka station to the Takasaki city.
It had been there a little long ago and I had wanted to visit it but had not had occasion to do so,
Here this is the appearance

This restaurant is very big ( from the view of Japanese) and has 280 seats!

Through the door in right I reached restaurant.
In this restaurant all customers are seated in a room.
We were navigated to this room

We enjoyed Japanese garden from the seats.
Under the table, it was floor heating.

Usually saying “the menu is …” I starts to introduce the menu but Icchou has a large number of foods and drinks, there were Udon, Soba, Rice Bowl, Teishoku, Gozen, Itarian, Sweets, Ramen, Gyouza… almost aii kind of foods was served.

Drinks were so, Beer, Nihonshu, Sake, Wine, Whisky, Shouchu, Cocktail…
It is, in a sense, ultimate family restaurant.

Added to these there were the page of Isshou(=1,800ml)-bin and bottle of 350ml.
I looked through the menu which, I guess, around 1,000 foods and drinks was on it and ordered “Pair of Mini-Tokachi-don & Shou-men(Soba)”.
“Tokachi-don” is the speciality in Tokachi district in Hokkaido and is the rice bowl with roast pork flavored by salty & sweet soy source put over the rice.

From the upper left side, there were Salad, Maguro-no-Zuke (tuna pickled in soy sauce) with tororo (pounded yam), pickles, and from the lower left, Asazuke (vegetables pickled in salt in a short time), simmered vegetables and pudding.

The set menu takes 980 yen!
The taste is normally good as it satisfied us.

This restaurant’s appearance and inner was like luxury restaurant, the number of foods and drinks large, and the cost is reasonable, it is great!
Serving water and tea was to do it by yourself, customers shall order by tablet, those systems enabled it run it by not so much staff.

From the view point of management Icchou is great!
Icchou seems to be in Gunma, Saitama, Tochigi and Nagano and when seeing it, it is better to visit it.
