Hamburg Steak Lunch at “Gyusha” in Akihabara

Good evening.
Thank you very much for visiting this blog.

Today’s restaurant is in Akihabara… well, maybe Yushima or Suehiro-cho apply better.. anyway, a restaurant called “Gyusha” around there.
I used to live in Yushima, and at that time, I took tram from Ginza Line Suehiro-cho Station to work. I always passed by where today’s restaurant is.
There was a Chinese restaurant at that time, but it was changed to this restaurant when I came the other day after about 2 years.

I had never visited the Chinese restaurant. I didn’t have financial leeway to enjoy eating out then.
By the way, the reason I came to Akihabara on that day was to find some useful goods or material for my work…well, I didn’t find any after all.

Before I started to wander around, I came to this restaurant for lunch.
I actually had another choice of restaurant which was near, a “roast beef oil soba noodles” across Kuramae Street to the direction of Shohei-bashi. My stomach was not the best condition at that time, so I chose the hamburg because it sounded lighter than “roast beef” or “oil”.

Well, the inside of “Gyusha” was relaxing wooden style, and the room was narrow and long.
There was a room like this in the innermost.

I wish I could have had a seat there^^
Now, the menu was like this below.

There was only lunch menu, so I couldn’t see other menus.
When I left the restaurant, I saw another menu next to the fridge by chance. It seemed that they didn’t have Sake… too bad.

I had to choose one from curry and humburg steak.
There was “humurg curry” which has both, but it was just before payday so it was too expensive. I had to think about the calories anyway, so I chose a humburg steak with salad.
This restaurant serves 100% beef humburg steak, and the customers can choose doneness. I chose medium as it was the restaurant’s recommend. (I actually prefer rare, but I cannot say “no” if when someone else recommends me the other.)

There was a TV inside, and it was showing Mr. Ishihara being summoned at the Parliament with no sound.
While having salad, I was thinking that the investigation is indeed important, but moving things forward is more important for the politics for the citizens of Tokyo. The humbeurg steak arrived when I was watching TV.

The smallest size in the menu was 200g, but it was big enough.
And, rice.

At last, salad which I missed to introduce.

Everything was big.
I tried the steak.

Yes, it was delicious.
When I hear 100% beef steak, I imagine steak with little juice, but this one was very juicy, maybe because it was 100% Wagyu beef.
The surface of the steak was nicely burned, lightly crispy, so I could enjoy an interesting texture of crispy outside and juicy inside.

The time I came was around 2 p.m., but the room was filled with customers. The lady staff was kind and nice. I thought that their good service and delicious foods are the reason of this high reputation.
I found some papers to say that this restaurant was featured on TV some times. The boards at the entrance said it was on “Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai” and “Shu-Ichi”.
In “Shu-Ichi”, this menu was the topic, it said.

“Kuroi-Sanrensei (Black Triplicate Stars)”
Hey, what a nice name that is. It suits this restaurant which is near Akihabara.
If you like the first “Mobile Suit Gundam”, you cannot miss it.
I wanted to try it, but 1000g extra steak would be way too much to wear my suit on the next day^^; so I didn’t.

4 years have passed since I moved out from Yushima.
It’s only 4 years, but it’s been changed a lot there; new Matsumoto Kiyoshi (big drugstore chain), new soap shop, and so on. At the same time, there were many new reflexology shops as well, and it looked like Shibuya, Shinjuku, or Ikebukuro.
I thought, as an ex-resident, that this restaurant gets along with the changing Akihabara.
I want to try “Black Tri-Steak” some time.
It sounds like I would get “Jet Stream Attack” if I ordered it.

* I visited this restaurant in March. I somehow forgot to update this article, and noticed it when I was working on affiliate ads.

It’s our great pleasure if this article is helpful for you.
